To schedule a campaign, you will need to carry out the following steps:
- Go to the “Campaigns” dropdown on the top menu.
- Select “Schedule Campaign” from the dropdown.
There are three quick and easy steps you’ll need to schedule your campaign.
Step 1 - Tick the box to the left of the contact list(s) you wish to send your email to, and click “Next”.
Step 2 - Select the email/SMS that you would like to send in this campaign. You can preview your message one final time, by clicking the “Preview” button. Click “Next” when you are happy to proceed to the final step.
Step 3 - Choose the date and time at which you would like the campaign to be sent. In the example below, we have selected midday on Friday 19th May 2017. Click “Finish”.
When you click “Finish” having completed Step 3, you will see a pop-up confirming the campaign schedule details. Click “OK” to confirm the scheduling.
Now that the campaign has been scheduled, it will appear in your Pending Campaigns.
These can be accessed by doing the following:
- Selecting “Campaigns” from the menu at the top.
- Selecting “Pending Campaigns” from the dropdown.
From here, you can edit the time/date at which the campaign will be sent. Just click “edit”, and select a new date/time before selecting “Finish”, and confirming through the previously seen pop-up.
In the example below, we have kept the date the same, but moved the time at which the campaign will be sent to 10:00.
Cancelling a campaign
When an email/SMS is scheduled to be sent as a pending campaign, the content of the message itself cannot be edited. If you need to edit the content of a message which has been scheduled to be sent, you will need to cancel the campaign.
In order to do so, click the "x" to the right of your pending campaign. Upon confirmation, the campaign will be cancelled.
You can now edit your message by doing the following:
- Go to the “Content” button on the top menu.
- Select “Messages” from the dropdown.
- Click "Edit" on the email you wish to edit.
