The first steps you need to take when setting up your email are to set the following in the Email Editor:
- Message Name - recipients of your email will not see this, it is solely for your reference.
- Subject line - recipients of your email will see this when the email lands in their inbox.
Tip: The best email subject lines are usually short, descriptive, and provide the recipient with a reason to open your email.
These are set by navigating through the first two chevrons at the top of the Email Editor.
Resend to non-opens (optional)
When setting your subject line, there is also the option to send the email again to people who didn’t open it the first time round using a different subject line.
- Tick the box labelled “Yes, send the email again to people that don’t open it, with the following subject”.
- Type in a subject line (this must be different to the subject line set above).
