About Form Messages
Form messages are part of the student experience of completing a form - this is the feedback they receive. There are two types of form messages which you will find in the Messages tab:
- Form success message: Shown when students successfully complete and submit the form. You may want to edit this to include details of the event/form they have signed up to or let them know next steps e.g. they will receive a confirmation email.
- Form closed message: Shown either -
- When the event date has passed and the form automatically stops capturing records
- When the registration cap has been reached
- When the date and time set to stop collecting pre-registrations has passed
There are default form messages attached to every form, so don’t worry if you don’t change these.
Editing your form messages
You can edit your form messages in the Messages tab of the form builder:
- Remove the default text from the box
- Add your text to the selected message. You can format the text using the options at the top of the box
- Click Save & Continue once finished
