The Advanced Search feature gives you the functionality of a normal Search, however you can choose to include or exclude different and more complex sets of data. e.g. Carry out an Advanced Search to find all females with a graduation year of 2017, but exclude anyone who has already applied for a role within your organisation.
To use advanced search, you need to do the following:
- Go to the RMP Connect Dashboard.
- Click the "Advanced Search" button on the left menu.
You then need to pick your criteria that you want to include, for example searching for students who study at a university in London or at the University of Bristol.
To add your include criteria, you need to do the following:
- Select the green "Add new group" button.
- An options menu will appear from the right, go to the "University" option and select.
- Select the "Student studying at" and type in "London," (when you add a comma after London, it will search for any university including London). Then type in "Bristol" and select the option of "University of Bristol" from the dropdown that appears (only universities in your database will appear as an option).
At this point there are two options for your search: criteria and argument.
Criteria - You can either set this as "equals" which will give you an exact match to the term you search for or you can set it as "contains" which will search for anything containing the term.
Argument - If you are search for more than one term like the example above, you can either set this as "and" meaning the search will only find students that match both terms or you can set it as "or" which will look for either.
- You then need to click the green "Add" button.
You then need to pick your criteria that you want to exclude, for example searching for students who have already been hired.
To add your exclude criteria, you need to do the following:
- Select the green "Add new group" button.
- An options menu will appear from the right, go to the "Interactions" option and select.
- Select the "Interaction Types" and type in "Hired" (relevant interaction types that already exist in your database will appear in the dropdown).
- Select the green "Add" button.
You then need to select the green "Get Search Results" button at the bottom to run the advanced search.
